Early arrival housing

If you are living on campus for fall 2019, you have the opportunity to move-in  early if needed or drop-off your belongings ahead of time.  Please review the information below and decide if you would like to participate in one of these options:

Need to move-in early?

  • Complete the early arrival sign-up form to select your arrival date.
  • The earliest move-in day is Sunday, August 25. You can only move-in during posted desk hours.
  • Arrive at your residence hall front desk on your selected arrival date during desk hours to check-in and receive your room key.
  • If you stay for the nights of August 25 through August 27, you will be assessed an early arrival fee of $21.50/night. This fee is applied to your UWL student account. Starting August 28, you will not be assessed a fee although you must still sign-up as an early arrival student.

If you need to move-in early due to membership in a university organization or working on campus, please check with your coach, advisor or supervisor to make arrangements for early residence hall move-in. If your sponsoring organization has already made arrangements for your early arrival, you do not need to complete the early arrival sign-up form.

Just want to drop off your belongings early?

  • To take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the early drop off sign-up form
  • You can drop off belongings to your assigned room free of charge Sunday, August 25 through Wednesday, August 28, 11am-7pm.
  • Arrive at your residence hall during these times and the Desk Assistant will provide you with a room key to move-in your items.
  • You need to return your room key to the front desk as you leave.
  • Come back to campus on your assigned move-in day to unpack and get settled in.
