First-Year Senator

I am studying English Rhetoric and Political Science, with a focus on social justice work—I am interested in attending law school in the future. I am a Regional Director for Women’s March WI, and I actively work with them to host rallies, trainings, intersectionality educational opportunities, and protests. Lately I have been spending any and all free-time partaking in civil disobedience in Washington D.C., organizing activist work, backpacking, or taking care of my corn snake, Snack, the love of my life. I love writing essays, and I think meatloaf is a mistake.

A fun fact about me is that I was born with six fingers on my left hand. I like to meet new people, so if you see me around be sure to stop and say hello!

First-Year Senator

Hello! My name is Brandon Micech and I am planning on double majoring in Political Science/Business Administration with a minor in either Spanish or Computer Science.  I am involved in College Republicans, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, and CBA Student Advisory Council. A fun fact about me is that I was a non-voting representative/school safety activist on my school district’s school board. I encouraged my school district to invest in certain technologies, develop a better protocol to respond to an active shooter, get our liaison officer in the halls more, and brainstorm a new logo/mission statement for the district. I will fight for legislation that will have professors not view advising as a second job, have more meetings with your advisors in a one-on-one setting, better differentiate names on orders at Chars, and introduce open forums where students can partake in open discussions with each other.  I look forward representing the class of 2022 with integrity!
