Please be aware that UW-La Crosse will be phasing out the use of Taskstream over the fall semester.  Access to Tasktream will be maintained over the fall semester and end in January 2021. Plans for shifting work into Canvas are being coordinated with the General Education Assessment Committee (GEAC) and University Program Assessment Committee (UPAC).   If you have questions, you may contact Patrick Barlow, Assessment Coordinator or additionally Dr. Kenny Hunt (UPAC chair), Karen Hart (GEAC Chair), or Katie Hosley-Frieden, School of Education Assessment Coordinator.

The School of Education is using the Learning Achievement Tools (LAT) by Taskstream, which facilitates the demonstration and assessment of learning achievement for improving teaching and learning. LAT by Taskstream includes: electronic portfolios, outcomes assessment and data collection, standards-based lesson and unit planning, communication tools, shared resources, surveys, and more. Students will use Taskstream to share their edTPA documents, which include all documents, commentaries, and videos. Students will enroll in TPA programs within Taskstream.

edTPA Course Codes

Each edTPA program has a specific code that SoE students will use to self-enroll each semester.

Students are automatically enrolled in the Field Experience & Student Teaching SIPs  Program, which is where  instructors will complete the observations and SIPs documents. Students will be able to view this information once submitted by the faculty and supervisors.

Here are instructions for using Taskstream for SoE students.
