UWL Violence Prevention provides free, confidential:


  • Referrals to resources such as counseling, medical care, legal help, and academic or financial assistance
  • Safety planning
  • Information on reporting options (university conduct and/or police), campus policies and procedures, and victim rights. (Please note-you are not required to report an assault in order to get help)
  • Restraining order information and assistance
  • Advocacy and support during interviews and hearings

2018-19: 96.4% undergrad and 89.1% grad completion.

2017-18: 95.1% undergrad and 95.6% grad completion. UW-La Crosse had highest course completion in UW System

2016-17: 95.7% undergrad and 86.5% grad completion. 

To fulfill both state and federal mandates that colleges and universities train all new, incoming students on sexual violence prevention, all incoming UWL students (undergrads and grad students) are expected to complete Campus Clarity’s online training program Think About It. 

The link does not expire and is connected to your empl identification number. You can work at your pace from any computer (requires Flash player). You can leave and return to the course at any time, and when you return, it will open on the page you left off.

Students are expected to complete the course before the deadline date provided. Students that do not complete the course will incur a Hold on their WINGS account that will prevent registration. (Once Think About It has been completed the Hold will be removed).
