Attention Track and Field Event Attendees,
The UW-La Crosse Police Department welcomes you to the 2024 WIAA State Track & Field Championships! Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. As you join us for this exciting event, we kindly ask for your cooperation in following these guidelines:
- Stay Alert: Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Report any suspicious activity to event staff or law enforcement immediately.
- Follow Instructions: Please comply with all instructions given by event staff and law enforcement officers. They are here to ensure your safety.
- Keep Valuables Secure: Secure your belongings and avoid leaving items unattended.
- Stay Hydrated: Remember to drink plenty of water, especially if the weather is hot.
- Respect Others: Show respect to fellow attendees, athletes, and event staff. Disruptive or disorderly behavior will not be tolerated.
- Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures. In the event of an emergency, remain calm and follow instructions from authorities.
- Have Fun: Finally, have a fantastic time cheering on the athletes and soaking up the atmosphere of this thrilling event!
