2020 Vision: Seeing Graduate Education Clearly
62nd Annual WAGS Meeting
March 8–11, 2020
Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town
Albuquerque, New Mexico

The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Western Association of Graduate Schools will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, March 8–11, 2020 at the Hotel Albuquerque. 2020 Vision—Seeing Graduate Education Clearly will help us to consider the politics of graduate education and how we diversify graduate education. We will explore growing opportunities for channeling innovation while sharing challenges and success stories with other graduate school professionals.

Local arrangements will be provided by the University of New Mexico, the state’s flagship institution. Located in the Rio Grande Valley between the Sandia Mountains, at over 10,300 feet and the west mesa volcanoes, Albuquerque is one of the oldest cities in the southwest. Albuquerque celebrates diverse cultures, unique cuisine, and authentic art.  Hotel Albuquerque delights travelers with a distinctive blend of historic grandeur and contemporary comfort. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Old Town and adjacent to the Sawmill District. You will be walking distance to multiple museums and less than 15 minutes from the airport.

WAGS provides a unique networking and professional development opportunity for graduate deans, graduate school professionals, graduate program directors/advisors, and others committed to serving graduate education. On behalf of the entire WAGS Board, 2019–2020, we look forward to seeing you in Albuquerque for this very special conference.
