MVAC's Katherine Stevenson named Board Member of the Wisconsin Burial Sites Preservation Board
MVAC's Katherine Stevenson was named a Board Member of the Wisconsin Burial Sites Preservation Board on June 23. Dr. Stevenson, Operations Manager at the Mississippi Valley Archaeology Center, has been reappointed by Governor Tony Evers for a three-year term. First appointed in 2018, she is one of three archaeologists on the Board, along with three Tribal representatives and three Wisconsin Historical Society representatives. The Board is an independent panel that helps administer Wisconsin’s burial sites laws.
