Jr. Gobbler Gallop:
The Junior Gobbler is a race course held for youth
participants. This race is un-timed, and all
participants will receive a race number and award.
Courses are divided into 3 distances: a dash, 1/2 mile
and 1 mile so all ages are welcome to participate. The
Junior Gobbler races will begin at 10:45am. Although the
courses are designed to be a mile long, the Junior
Gobbler is for any participant wanting to have fun!
Volunteers will be readily available to run with the
children if they need assistance. Adults are also
allowed on the track to help their young ones along if
needed.
T-Shirts:
Long Sleeve Turkey Trot T-Shirts are available for
purchase for $13 each.

Win a Party
The group, organization, or business that registers the most
participants in the 2009 Turkey Trot will win a taco bar party
thanks to our friends at Burrachos. Registration is simple;
ensure team members identify their team name in the trotter team
affiliation section on the registration form to enter.
AWARDS & PRIZES:
One does not have to be the fastest runner to win an award at
the UW-L Turkey Trot. Awards are given to those who most
accurately predict their finish time and the fastest runners.
The Best Predictors
The top 5 male and female trotters who best predict their finish
time without going over will win Festival Foods turkey gift
certificates.
The Fastest Runners
The overall top 5 male and female finishers along with the top 5
male and female finishers by age group will win awards.
Age Groups
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,
45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, & 70+
Timing:
JMS Racing services times the event with state of the art chip
timing.
