BIO466/566 Human Genetics
A study of the basic principles of heredity in humans. Focus will be on the inheritance of human traits and disorders, modern techniques used in studying human genetics, and the genetic basis of disease. Ethical issues will also be addressed. Lect. 3. Cr. 3. Prerequisite: BIO306.
This course fulfills elective requirements for both the Biology major and the Biology major with Biomedical Science or Cellular and Molecular Concentrations. Graduate students should register for BIO566. The course is currently offered only in the fall semester and is scheduled for MWF 8:50-9:45am in 301 Cowley Hall.
