In my teaching, I guide students in exploring and understanding patterns in nature and the evolutionary and ecological functions associated with those patterns. To engage my students I employ a multi-faceted teaching approach that addresses topics from many directions.  

The Biology Department at UWL is currently engaged in an Evolution across the Biology Curriculum experiment. Seven Biology faculty  have designed evolution content for the core courses and these impact of these will be assessed in each course and across the entire curriculum.
