Personal Research Interests

I've been fortunate to pursue a variety of research interests that have dealt with the behavioral ecology of small mammals, marsh bird communities, and exotic plant species. My current interests are generally in conservation biology and restoration ecology. For example, from 1983 to 1996 I investigated exotic plant species that were invading Glacier National Park, Montana. Currently I'm interested in the ecological applications of GIS technology and topics related to reed canarygrass.
