National History Day (NHD) is a program which engages middle school and high school students in historical research. As part of the history department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, National History Day remains an important initiative in supporting history education for teachers and students in the school districts of western Wisconsin.
This year there are ten different regional awards, available to middle and high school students, in different topics and fields of history. Here is a list of the award topics and monetary amounts.
