Master's Degree
Track A/B
Track A & B is a 12 month clinical internship program.
Clinical Internships will take place from January
through December. The didactic online courses begin in
the fall semester prior to starting clinical internship
training. This Master's degree program not
only delivers the core medical dosimetry curriculum, it also offers
advanced professional and research coursework that prepares graduates
for future advancement in the profession. Upon graduation, the
student is considered a Route 1 exam applicant by the MDCB (www.mdcb.org).
This program adheres to all JRCERT accreditation standards.

- clinical internship sites located throughout the U.S. with
new sites established annually
Registered Radiation Therapists
with a BS/BA degree are enrolled in Track
A.
Non-Registered Radiation Therapists
with a BS/BA degree are enrolled in Track
B.

Admission policies and the application/selection process have been developed with the intention to consider each applicant's strengths and select for admission those best qualified to meet the program's requirements and mission.
Prerequisite Courses
- (6-8 cr) Human Anatomy & Physiology - two semesters with labs; or equivalent
- (6-8 cr) Physics – two course sequence; or equivalent
- (3-4 cr) Pre-Calculus; or College Algebra + Trigonometry; or equivalent
- (3-4 cr) Biology; or equivalent
- (1-3 cr) Medical Terminology; or equivalent
- (2-3 cr) Computer Science; or equivalent

Medical Dosimetry Program Application Requirements
- Program application
- Completion of prereq courses
- Minimum GPA of 3.00
- Computer requirements for online courses
- $50 application fee to the program
- Copy of current ARRT certification
- Four letters of recommendation
- Applicants must use the required form provided on the program's website.
- Please submit all four letters with the program application.
- Letters must be in sealed envelopes with the signature of the reference across the seal.
- Minimum of 40 hours of documented medical
dosimetry observation
- Applicants must complete a 40 hour observation in medical dosimetry.
- This observation must be completed by the application deadline.
- Required documents are posted on the program's webiste.
- If you have difficulty finding a site on your own for observation time, you may contact one of the clinical sites listed on the website.
