High School Scholar Camps

Each summer the Department of Microbiology offers High School students interested in Microbiology an opportunity to conduct a small research project under the individual mentorship of a faculty member. The Microbiology Scholar Camps, typically offered in late July, are an excellent opportunity for students interested in microbiology to learn more about this exciting area. Scholar Camp participants may also compete for a $1000 scholarship if they intend to attend UW-La Crosse as a Microbiology major.
