Students who are pursuing a Master's degree and are interested in microbiology have two options available as the M.S. Biology program has two formal concentrations pertaining to microbiology:

  1. Clinical Microbiology concentration which is offered in conjunction with Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, Marshfield Laboratories/St. Joseph's Hospital/ Marshfield Clinic, and the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene; and

  2. Microbiology concentration which includes all aspects of microbiology such as pathogenic microbiology, immunology, food and industrial, genetics and environmental.
