Microbiology Scholarships
The Department of Microbiology offers eight scholarships, totaling over $5500, to Microbiology majors and Clinical Laboratory Science students each year. Previous years Scholarship awardees are listed below.

| UW-L Microbiology Scholarship | Microbiology major; Sophomore, Junior, or Senior | $500 |
| Walter Winfrey Memorial Microbiology Scholarship | Microbiology major; Junior or Senior with a gpa of at least 3.25 | $1000 |
| Robert Burns Medical Microbiology Scholarship | Microbiology major; Junior or Senior; must have taken Pathogenic microbiology and have a gpa of at least 3.25 | $800 |
| Microbiology Public Health Scholarship | Microbiology major; must demonstrate interest in Immunology or Public Health and have a gpa of at least 3.25 | $500 |
| Larry Trammell Microbiology Prep Room Scholarship | Microbiology major; must have worked in the microbiology prep room for at least one year | $500 |
| Allen Nelson Mycology Scholarship | Microbiology or Biology major; Junior or Senior; must have taken at least one mycology course and/or done research in mycology | $500 |
| Grace Smith Clinical Laboratory Science Scholarship | Clinical Laboratory Science major; Junior or Senior | $500 |
Microbiology majors are also eligible for many other Science and Health Scholarships as well as General University Scholarships.
