Brief biography

Maggie was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa and moved to the Seven Rivers Region for her undergraduate course work and never left. Maggie earned her undergraduate and Masters degree from Winona State University and her PhD from the University of Minnesota. She and her family live in rural Winona county on a farm with their five children raising beef, sheep, goats, chickens and horses.

Professional history

In addition to her academic work, Maggie has a certificate in Lean Services from the University of Michigan and has attended Six Sigma training. Her consulting work has been focused on process improvement in Healthcare, Higher Education and Human Services.
