MPA 2010 - MPA 2010 will be held April 29 - May 1, 2010 at the Palmer House Hilton - CHICAGO, IL. 

PSI CHI INVITED SPEAKER!
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky will be our invited speaker and will speak on positive psychology.

REGISTRATION?  All students (attending and/or presenting) must also register for the MPA conference (~$20) - registration information will be available late winter/early spring 2010 at the MPA website.

PSI CHI CHAPTERS - BEST PRACTICE POSTERS:  Deadline = DEC 15th at 5 pm CST - the submission guidelines are described below .

November 20th, 2009 - BELOW is a list of all submitted abstracts. We received a record number of 417 submissions this year! Unfortunately, it means we will be rejecting a larger number this year.  We will let you know by Feb 2010 at the latest.

This is your "confirmation" that your abstract was received. If the list is in error - please email mwpsichi@uwlax.edu with changes by November 25th. 


Decisions regarding acceptance/awards should be available at this same URL by mid January.

POSTER INFORMATION
Posters are to be mounted on a board whose dimensions are 68 3/4" wide (5 feet, 8.75 inches) and 44 3/4" high (3 feet, 8.75 inches). Your poster should be able to be mounted with push pins or tacks onto this space. You should arrive about five minutes ahead of the session, and you should remove your poster when the time period is over.  Poster "dos and don'ts" - http://www.psichi.org/conventions/attendees.aspx.

ATTACHMENT: #1 Basic information 

    a. Title of talk (Capitalize first letters only, but do not capitalize conjunctions, articles, or short prepositions).
    b. Student authors' names and institutions

    c. First author's phone and email (double check that your email is correct)
    d. Please indicate author(s)' Psi Chi role - member or officer.


#2 Submit a abstract not to exceed 200 words describing a Psi Chi chapter related activity that your chapter feels was successful and represents a "best practice" for Psi Chi chapters - ideas could include successful service projects, induction events, leadership continuity practices, etc).

*These posters are not eligible for Psi Chi research awards.
