PSI CHI

Psi Chi (pronounced "sigh - kai") is an international honors society for psychology founded in 1929 for the "purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications."

A student must be a junior, have 9 credits in psychology and a GPA of at least 3.00 and in the upper 35% of their class (for UW-L the cut off is a 3.33 in Psychology).  If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior in psychology and are eligible you will receive an invitation via email to join in the month of September. You will be expected to attend the induction ceremony that will be held on a Wednesday evening approximately the sixth week of the semester.
