July 1 - PTCAS Opens

Candidates may begin the online application process via PTCAS.

July 15 - GRE Deadline for Early Decision

Early Decision candidates must take the GRE® and request scores no later than this date.  If the applicant's results arrive after the early decision deadline, PTCAS will automatically change the file from early decision to regular status.

August 15 - Early Decision Deadline

The Early Decision is a binding option for applicants who have decided that the UW-L PT program is their first choice and that they will enroll if accepted.  Early Decision applicants can apply to only one PTCAS program until a decision on their application has been made by the UW-L PT program.

In addition to completing the PTCAS application, the applicant must arrange for PTCAS to receive all official U.S. transcripts and fee by this date.  Early Decision candidates must take the GRE® and request scores no later than July 15.  If the applicant's application, transcripts, or fee arrive after the early decision deadline, PTCAS will automatically change the file from early decision to regular status.

The Early Decision applicant may be offered early admission, denied admission, or deferred to regular applicant status.  If offered admission as an Early Decision applicant, the applicant is obligated to accept the offer and will not be permitted to apply to additional PTCAS programs.  If denied admission as an Early Decision applicant, the applicant may apply to other PTCAS institutions for an additional fee.

The Early Decision applicant is also responsible for completing and submitting the program's supplemental application and program fee by this date.  The application is available at the following - Application Materials

The program will begin making admission decisions on Early Decision applicants by the week of September 24.

October 15 - GRE Deadline for Final/Firm Application Deadline

Candidates must take the GRE® and request scores no later than this date.  If the applicant's results arrive after the final application deadline, PTCAS will automatically consider the application incomplete.

November 15 - Final/Firm Application Deadline

In addition to completing the PTCAS application, the applicant must arrange for PTCAS to receive all official U.S. transcripts and fee by this date.  Candidates must take the GRE® and request scores no later than October 15.  If the applicant's application, transcripts, or fee arrive after the early decision deadline, PTCAS will automatically consider the application incomplete.

The applicant is also responsible for completing and submitting the program's supplemental application and program fee by this date.  The application is available at the following - Application Materials

The program will begin making final admission decisions by the week January 14.
