Transition plates allow for smooth maneuvering from the ground to the gangplank.

Two transition plates, and a gently sloped gangplank not exceeding the 8% grade requirement, allow this pier to be accessed safely in a wheelchair.

This dock provides plenty of clear turning space to allow a wheelchair to maneuver safely.

A good example for dispersing the clear fishing spaces to allow for multiple anglers.

This pier demonstrates the 2 inch vertical extension on the edge of the pier to prevent a wheelchair from rolling off of the pier.

This photo shows a few of the recommendations for an accessible boat slip. There is a 60 inch clear space adjacent to the individual slip, as well as the 36 inch minimum dock width.
