The Cartwright Student Center is the focus of activities, programs, and facilities dedicated to enhancing our university community in an environment that embraces diversity. Football & Soccer Game Transportation Information

Bus Schedule for Football Games – Fall 2008

UW-L students will have an opportunity to go to home football games played in Winona for free. Buses will leave from the north entrance to Mitchell Hall one hour before game time.

Space is limited so it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. This service is provided free for UW-L students only and will be available throughout the football season.

All football charters will be picked up at the north entrance to Mitchell Hall and will be taken to Winona State University Stadium in Winona, MN. Admission to the football games is free to UW-L students with a student ID.

Free Rides for Students Attending UW-La Crosse Women’s Soccer Home Games

Rides from the north side of Mitchell Hall on campus to the Field for Kids in La Crosse will be available at no cost to UW-L students for all remaining home soccer games:

  • Saturday, September 27 vs. UW-Eau Claire – 2:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 7 vs. Northwestern College (Minn.) – 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 15 vs. UW-Platteville – 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 23 vs. Wartburg College (Iowa) – 4:00 p.m.

Students interested in obtaining a ride to one of the soccer games listed above should call CTS Taxi in La Crosse, (608) 784-7700, on the day of the game, and identify themselves as UW-La Crosse students. CTS Taxi will need to be contacted after the game to arrange a ride back to Mitchell Hall after the game. Only rides between Mitchell Hall and the Field for Kids are allowed free of charge.
