Higher Ed Certificate
Our 9-credit, post-master’s graduate certificate in Higher Education Leadership is currently only available to participants in the Student Affairs Academy, led by Senior Student Affairs Officers (SSAOs) in UW System and expected to launch in 2023-2024.
If you are interested in the certificate, please let us know by emailing apply2saa@uwlax.edu. While we do not have plans to offer certificate courses to students who are not participants in the Academy in 2023-2024, we may consider offering additional sections in the future. If you have any other questions about the certificate, you are also welcome to contact our Department Chair, Dr. Tori Svoboda, at tsvoboda@uwlax.edu.
NOTE: The nine credits in this certificate could apply towards our doctoral (Ed.D.) program in Student Affairs Administration & Leadership, should a certificate student later decide be admitted to the doctoral program (so long as no more than ten years pass between starting the certificate and finishing the doctoral degree). The priority consideration application date for our doctoral program is December 15. Learn more about admissions.
