Chemistry

Clinical Laboratory Science
Use your lab skills to help physicians diagnose and treat patients. Environmental Science
Rooted in geography, biology, chemistry and microbiology, and environmental studies, environmental science applies knowledge from the natural and social sciences to understand issues in the environment with the goal of protecting the Earth and human health.

Exercise & Sport Science
Students can focus their major on a variety of emphasis areas: physical, adapted or school health education teaching; sport management; or exercise science. The exercise science emphasis prepares students for careers in fitness, health, and related fields, and they can choose a fitness track or pre-professional track. A pre-professional track prepares students for graduate fields that use exercise as medicine such as athletic training, physical therapy, occupational therapy, cardiac & pulmonary rehabilitation and more.

Landscapes we observe today looked different as we journey back in time. We may wonder why did past groups of people choose certain places to live, what did the land look like back then, and what impact did people have on the land and natural resources? The study of geoarchaeology helps us piece together the answers to these questions and more. The geoarchaeology minor providing students with a multidisciplinary lens to study past environments based on evidence that remains in today’s landscape.
