Instruction and Curriculum Resources:

UW-La Crosse English Department Authorized Courses
Brief listing of the standard English courses offered at UW-L.

LX 138P Program Curriculum form used to make changes to majors, minors, concentrations, emphasis and college core. Changes include credits, required courses, electives, and other program requirements. Also used to submit curricula to curriculum committee.

LX 138C Curriculum Form used to make any change to a course including description, prerequisite(s), credits, title, grading pattern, instructional pattern, course number or delivery options. Also used to delete or create new courses.

Writing Emphasis Program Information about the writing emphasis certification process.
Includes the form required for faculty to apply request their course to be counted as fulfilling the
General Education requirements for writing emphasis.

Textbook Rental website includes information with regard to textbook rental policy
and the textbook rental form.

Textbook Adoption through the University Bookstore to adopt textbooks to be sold in the bookstore. A new form must be submitted for every semester and use a separate form for each book.

Faculty Notice on Discretionary Drops
Information for all instructors with regard to the proper procedure for dropping students who fail to attend the first two class sessions.

Murphy Library purchase request to submit suggestions for items to be added to the library.

Campus Absence and Travel Support Form
Form required for faculty to be filed one week in advance of any planned absence which is paid
with state funds, part of official University business, or uses a University vehicle.

Campus Connection Submissions is a survey used to submit information to the Campus Connection including employee achievements for the Kudos section.
