Hello, there! I am an Associate Lecturer in the UW-L Microbiology Department. I officially joined the faculty in 2009, but have been part of the Microbiology program since 2002, when I began as a student. Therefore, if you have any questions about the Microbiology Undergraduate or Graduate Programs, I can offer a unique perspective.
Right now, I teach MIC 100 (Microbes and Society) lecture and lab, MIC 230 (Fundamentals of Microbiology) and MIC 406 (Immunology) labs. I also conduct fish virus research in Dr. Mike Hoffman’s lab in the HSC.
When I am not at UW-L, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and my dogs Griffin and Lucy. I like to read, cook, and spend lots of time outdoors camping, hiking, biking, playing softball, and being on the water.
Feel free to contact me!
