The Safe Ride bus offers a safe ride between downtown and campus on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. There are stops on and off campus, around town and downtown, which are marked with a maroon and silver Safe Ride bus sign.
The Safe Ride bus circulates through the route every 15 minutes! UWL Students, friends, and the general public ride free on the Safe Ride bus. No student ID's are required.
Safe Ride will begin at 10:30 p.m. on all evenings of service.
Fall Semester 2023
Safe Ride starts on Saturday, September 2, 2023 and ends on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
Safe Ride service on New Years Eve from 10:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
No Safe Ride during Thanksgiving Break - November 23, 24, and 25, 2023.
Spring Semester 2024
Safe Ride starts on Saturday, January 20, 2024 and ends on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
No Safe Ride during Spring Break – Saturday, March 9 – Friday, March 15, 2024.
No Safe Ride the Saturday before Easter – March 30, 2024.
Service every 15 minutes
