Scholarships: Empowering Students, Inspiring Donors 

UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Scholarship applications are now being accepted.

If you will be enrolled for the 2024-2025 academic year, you are eligible to apply for UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation scholarships beginning October 1, 2023. The application deadline date is February 1, 2024, at midnight. Please apply and search at https://uwlax.academicworks.com using your NETID credentials.

If you are graduating in May or August 2024, you are eligible to apply for the following graduating senior scholarships if you meet the requirements.

  • Alice DeBower Undergraduate Distinguished Service Award for Graduating Seniors in Recreation Management & Therapeutic Recreation (RMTR)
  • Alice DeBower Undergraduate Distinguished Service Award for Graduating Seniors (RMTR)
  • Joseph P. Heim Endowed Scholarship for Graduating Seniors (Pol Sci/Public Admin)
  • Dr. William "Bill" and Mary Jo Otto Family Scholarship in Recreation (RMTR)
  • Drs. Suzanne & Joseph Toce Biochemistry Scholarship Endowment (Biochemistry)
  • Daron James Williams, M.D. Memorial Scholarship in Pre-Medical Studies Fund (Pre-Med)

Fellowships

UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Fellowship applications are now being accepted.

These fellowships can be thought of as closely mentored internships that provide hands-on experience with potential to take on independent projects. The Fellowships are intended to provide experiential learning opportunities for students from any field of study.
