Empowering Students, Inspiring Donors
Through the generosity of alumni and friends, the UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation provided over $1.8 million in student scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. These scholarships reduce financial barriers and empower students to focus on achieving their academic and career goals. This continued support represents a meaningful investment in the next generation of UWL leaders.

If you are enrolled in the 2026-2027 academic year
Please note that a majority of the Foundation Scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year have been awarded. Scholarship recipients would have received an email from foundation@uwlax.edu indicating they have been awarded a scholarship. If you have not received an email, or are concerned you may have missed it, please log in to AcademicWorks to review the status of your applications and determine whether there are any scholarships awaiting acceptance.

Please note that the application portal for Foundation Scholarships for the 2027-2028 academic year will open on October 1, 2026.

It Make$ Cents! is a resource for students who are focused on finding alternative funding for their education. The IMC is committed to helping students locate scholarships, grants and cash awards that fit their unique qualifications, educate them on submitting high quality applications and ultimately, see them further their education by receiving funds to fund that education.
