Pottery Cluster

Pottery cluster Pottery clusters are piles of pot sherds that were dumped and have stayed as a single pile of debris. They may represent a pot that broke and was discarded.  Pictured is a pottery cluster excavated in 1984 from the Midway Village located north of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
