Curation

Boxes in the lab Curation is one of the most important responsibilities in archaeology. Once artifacts are processed, catalogued, and analyzed, they are placed in a curation facility for long-term storage. The collections are organized and kept in secure, stable conditions to ensure their preservation and to keep them accessible for future study.
