Fish Hook – Copper

Copper Fish hook Western Wisconsin has a rich and varied environment with many kinds of food resources.  Fish from the Mississippi and other rivers were one of the most important summer resources. This copper fish hook was recovered during excavations in the mid 1980s at the Overhead site, located just south of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
