Projectile Point – Durst/Preston

Projectile Point

This quartz Durst or Preston like point has a maximum length of 35.91 mm (~1.5 inches) (it is broken at the tip), a maximum thickness of 7.96 mm (~1/3 inch), a basal width of 14.58 mm (~½ inch), a stem length of 8.53 mm (~1/3 inch), and a weight of 5.20 grams.  Recovered during a 2007 pedestrian survey in Rusk County, Wisconsin.
