Norskedalen, Skumsrud (Coon Valley, WI) – Historic Bead

Bead One interesting historic find that was recovered during MVAC’s 2014 Public Field Survey, was a small glass bead that might date to the time of the first Euroamerican settlers on the land, the Skumsrud family, who built their first house on the property in 1853.
