Sand Lake Archaeological District – Woodland Pottery #1

Woodland pottery This Woodland vessel was excavated from the Sand Lake Archaeological District in 1983. It has a row of punctates 3 cm below the squared lip. The straight vessel walls are 1 cm thick, and are of a paste containing large crushed chert temper. (La Crosse County, Wisconsin)
