Resources for current & prospective tutors

A page within Multicultural Student Services

Welcome Potential Students!

Please review the various precollege job opportunities that we have below before proceeding!

  1. Review the different job opportunities that we have and identify what would be a good fit for yourself. Students do not need to have expertise in the subject area of the camp they are applying for. Our office is looking for current UWL students who are interested in meeting our participants where they come from and have a desire to provide structure and guidance with a relationship approach.
  2. Click on this information survey to identify what programs/camps you are interested in applying for.
  3. Once I receive that information I will be reaching out to potential mentors/counselors with the appropriate application. Our summer programs are highly sought after and are a great experience for anyone looking to stay in La Crosse over their summer.
  4. After I receive the application I will be reaching out with a link to book an interview with our precollege team.
  5. Please pay attention to the training dates- the training is mandatory and offers a chance to get to know the rest of the team, receive important training tools and resources on working with our participants and hear about the logistics that will help run our programs smoothly.

If there are any questions or concerns along the way, please reach out! Again, here is the link to start the application process.
