UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Event Services 

The UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Event Services are designed to support alumni, friends, and UWL partners who are interested in hosting an event or coordinating a fundraiser. This page provides an overview of our services, guidelines, and resources to help you plan and execute a successful event.  

Our Services Include:

1. Customized Event Registration Webpage: We will create a personalized registration webpage for your event, making it easy for attendees to sign up and stay informed.

2. Targeted Email Communication: On your behalf, we can send an invitation and a reminder email to your customized recipient list, ensuring your event reaches the right audience.

3. RSVP Management: Leave the logistics to us! We provide RSVP services to help you keep track of attendees and manage your guest list efficiently.

Complete the Registration and Webpage Request Form  to begin services, which include:

  • One email invitation to a customized recipient list
  • One email reminder to a customized recipient list
  • One event webpage with a registration link
  • Process registrations and provide final registration list

Guidelines for Fundraising Events

  • If this is a fundraising event, a UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Fundraising Activity Form must be approved by both Business Services and the Foundation. Please send this form to the necessary parties via DocuSign for approval prior to the execution of the event.

  • The UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation holds a raffle license through the State of Wisconsin. If you plan to hold a raffle to benefit UWL, you must complete the UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Fundraising Activity Form and identify “raffle” as your strategy to raise funds. Upon approval, Marcus Buchholz, Director of Finance, will send the required forms to proceed with the raffle in compliance with state regulations.

  • For monetary contributions, we provide a gift acknowledgement letter or automated email.

Guidelines for Alumni Data Requests

  • If you are a UWL employee and would like access to alumni contact information, you are required to coordinate your request through your area's Foundation liaison.
  • If you are not a UWL employee and would like access to alumni contact information, please work with an official UWL liaison to submit your request to the Foundation. The liaison will be required to complete a Data Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreement before any sensitive or confidential information can be shared.

  • All email invitations and reminders will be sent via the Alumni & Friends Foundation’s CRM system to ensure data can be accurately tracked.
