UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Event Services 

The UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation Event Services are designed to support alumni, friends, and UWL partners who are interested in hosting an event or coordinating a fundraiser. This page provides an overview of our services, guidelines, and resources to help you plan and execute a successful event.  

Our Services Include:

1. Customized Event Registration Webpage: We will create a personalized registration webpage for your event, making it easy for attendees to sign up and stay informed.

2. Targeted Email Communication: On your behalf, we can send an emailed digital invitation and one reminder to your customized recipient list, ensuring your event reaches the right audience.

3. RSVP Management: Leave the logistics to us! We provide RSVP services to help you keep track of attendees and manage your guest list efficiently.

Complete the UWLAFF Event Services Request Form to begin services, which include:

  • One email invitation to a customized recipient list
  • One email reminder to a customized recipient list
  • One event webpage with a registration link
  • Process registrations and provide the final registration list

Guidelines for Fundraising Events

A fundraising event is a specifically designed occasion to generate financial support. This type of event may include a registration fee, a silent auction, or a raffle.

  • For monetary contributions, the Foundation provides a gift acknowledgement letter or automated email.

  • The UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation holds a raffle license through the State of Wisconsin. If you plan to hold a raffle or silent auction to benefit UWL, you must complete the UWLAFF Event Services Request Form. Upon completion, Kailey Mael, Program Associate,  will send the required forms to proceed with the raffle or silent auction in compliance with state regulations.

Guidelines for Alumni Data Requests

  • If you are a UWL employee and would like access to alumni contact information, please work with your area's Foundation liaison.

If you are not a UWL employee and would like access to alumni contact information, please work with a UWL employee who will serve as your official liaison to the Foundation.

The liaison will:

Due to our confidentiality policy, alumni information may not be shared directly with outside parties. If you intend to send communications to alumni (i.e., emails, printed invitations, newsletters), please coordinate these efforts through your UWL liaison.  

  • All email invitations and reminders will be sent via the Alumni & Friends Foundation’s CRM system to ensure data can be accurately tracked.
