WIAA Track Meet Housing policies and procedures for Volunteers

  1. WIAA Volunteers are housed in Reuter Hall. Check in at the Reuter Hall front desk to:
    • Pay for housing
    • Get your room assignment, room key, and front door access card
  2. Due to contractual obligations, we cannot house non-volunteers, non-athletes or non-coaching staff in the residence halls.
  3. Reuter Hall is for officials and volunteers only. Your room/apartment is not to be used by any athletes or as a “team room.”  We do not allow adults to share a room with minors.
  4. You are responsible for turning in all keys/door access cards to the front desk at checkout. Charges will be assessed for a lost key or access card and an invoice will be emailed to you. An apartment key costs $60, a bedroom key is $12 and a front door access card is $12. If a key or access card is found, it must be returned, postmarked by June 12, 2026.
  5. You will assume total responsibility for your behavior. Our professional staff and student staff are available as informational resources and to assist you in the enforcement of residence hall policies.
  6. Apartment doors close automatically and lock upon closure. A photo ID will be required from you if you need to be let in by a staff member.
  7. Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  8. Alcohol is allowed only within your apartment. Drugs are not permitted in the UWL residence halls. The residence halls are smoke and tobacco free environments.
  9. The following behavior is prohibited:
    • Drug use (Drugs are not permitted in UWL Residence Halls)
    • Smoking/Tobacco (Must be outside 25 feet from building)
    • Public intoxication
    • Verbal abuse of Residence Life staff or interference with their job responsibilities
    • Physical intimidation or menacing behavior
    • Interference with a staff member engaged in performance of duty
  10. Please remove garbage from rooms and take to the outside trash or recycle bins prior to checkout.
  11. We will be checking your room and the 4-bedroom apartment after checkout. The room should be in the same condition as it was upon your arrival. Cleaning supplies will be available at the front desk. Residence Life staff will follow up with a volunteer if a room or apartment is left in unsatisfactory condition or if there are missing items.
