Bartending at Octoberfest

Oktoberfest Hours of Operation in 2026 - Sunday, September 27th: 11am-6pm

UWL Women's Hockey will be running the Main tent and Surly Bar from 10:30-2:30 on Sunday September 27th.

Volunteer Descriptions:

Bartending

We will be using improved RFID technology (same vendor as 2025), and patrons will pay for their beverages through a POS System using a wristband attached to their debit/credit card OR a physical credit/debit card. Further information and training will be provided as we near Oktoberfest. The first 30 minutes of the shift will be reserved for checking in and receiving training and communication from the volunteer committee and bar supervisor.

MAIN Tent

Join us in the MAIN Tent where we will be serving can or tap beer. This bar area is large and always hoppin’.

Surly Bar

Join us in the Surly Bar where we will be serving tap beer only. A small space in the center of the action that is busy and fast paced.
