Arbor Day Walk About: Getting to Know Your Local Trees

Presenter: Randy Mell, University of Wisconsin Extension Natural Resources Educator

Ever wonder if a tree in your yard is a hard maple or a white oak? Does it matter? Yes, it matters to your local wildlife who use it for food or shelter. Join a forester as you get to know what trees are  growing in your yard. This outdoor program will help you learn how to identify the major native trees you will likely find growing on your property.
