CATL Winter Workshop Series

The CATL Winter (Virtual) Conference, Tuesday 1/19 through Friday 1/22, invites instructors to prepare for your Spring 2021 classes with a series of workshops, panels, and consultations. Check out the TUESDAY schedule below to see what topics will help you enhance student learning in spring 2021. Workshop: Course Self-Reflection
To kick off our week of course improvements, you will be performing a course self-reflection designed to aid you in targeting one area you would like to reimagine, rethink, or redesign as we move into the spring semester.  

11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Supported Work Time
Make progress on your targeting area that you wish to reimagine, rethink, or redesign that you identified in the 10-11am session. CATL staff will be available to assist. Peers are encouraged to support and help each other, as well.  

1:00 - 2:00 pm
Collaborate or Consult
Collaborate with a colleague to strategize your revisions and/or stop in (virtually) for a CATL consultation to discuss this or any teaching topic. 

2:00 - 3:00 pm
Roundtable Discussion: Engaging First Year Students
Join us for a panel discussion on engaging first-year students. We will discuss challenges, successes, and next steps.
