Voices of Uprising

The Crossroads of Whiteness & Masculinities

The second installment of the Voices of Uprising series at UW-La Crosses focuses on challenging Whiteness and White supremacy on our campuses and in our communities. This conversation is moderated by Andrew Ives (Student Life) and includes Dr. Kristina LaPlant (Dept. of Political Science and Public Administration), Dr. Ryan McKelley (Dept. of Psychology), and Dr. Jörg Vianden (Dept. of Student Affairs Administration) as they try to make sense of the continued wave of White men’s violence and resistance in this country. The overall goal of the episode is to inspire White men students, faculty, staff, and administrators to become more active agents of change.
