Cancelled - Healthcare Case Competition at UWL

Your chance to practice solving healthcare problems!

This is your chance to practice solving healthcare problems with the help of experts from on and off-campus! This year's focus is on "Harm Reduction", a practice that seeks to reduce the harm related to criminal activity, in this case the use of illicit drugs.

At this event, students will review a "case" and then work with their group to come up with workable local solutions; then present their approach to a panel of expert judges. There will be prizes for the best solutions/presentations, and the winning group will be invited to participate in the statewide version of the event, with the registration fee WAIVED.

Register as a team or as an individual (and we can help you team up). Students from different majors and pre-health tracks encouraged to team up together!

Brought to you by the Pre-Health Center and Scenic Rivers AHEC, with assistance from the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.

Register via Handshake by October 11th. Registrants will be sent a meeting link.
