Druzhba Chess Club Match

Organized by the La Crosse-Dubna Friendship Association

The next international, non-competitive chess event, known as the Druzhba Chess Club, will be held on Saturday, May 13 from 10am-12pm. To get involved, please contact Natalia Roberts.

'Druzhba,' which translates to 'friendship' in Russian, is at the heart of this effort to connect local students with new friends in La Crosse's Russian sister city, Dubna. 

The Druzhba Chess Club serves as a unique opportunity to maintain local efforts of citizen diplomacy at the individual level.
