Camp Menogyn Winter Break Trip 1/7-1/11

Join us for a winter wonderland experience as we explore Minnesota’s Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness! For this trip we will be staying in heated cabins in YMCA’s Camp Menogyn. The Boundary Waters in winter offers a unique experience of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing up bluffs and across frozen lakes. Our day trips will include hikes to scenic overlooks, dog sledding, and a wood fired sauna with the option to do a polar plunge in the lake. During the night we will wind down by doing a group puzzle, reading by the fire, or stargazing with the chance to see the northern lights. All meals are provided by the amazing Camp Menogyn cooks. The staff will help plan out our days at camp and ensure we get the most out of our time in the beautiful Boundary Waters!

This deposit feature allows individuals to register and claim their spot on the trip listed here. By paying this 50% deposit, you have committed to attending the trip and paying the balance 30 days before the departure day. After submitting this payment, we will contact you via email/phone with further information and steps related to this trip! Please note the following refund and cancellation policy”

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS

Expenses, such as contracted guides, facility/ lodging reservations, and specialized equipment purchases or rentals are required prior to many trips - therefore we have the following policy:

-Cancel 60 days in advance to receive a full refund minus a $35.00 transaction fee

-Cancel any time less than 60 days and up to 30 days in advance and 50% of the trip fee is refunded

-Cancel any time less than 30 days prior to trip departure and there is no refund.

Registration Includes: This trip provides transportation, warm homemade meals, all equipment needed for winter activities, lodging in a warm and cozy cabin, professional guides and mushers, and use of the sauna.

Price: $675 before November 10th, $725 after November 10th (+$100 non-students)

Registration Closes: December 2nd
