Ice Climbing

@ the Winona Ice Park

We'll join Big River Climbing Guides in Winona at one of the only 4 ice climbing parks in the country! This trip involves an epic climbing experience on natural ice formations in northern Minnesota. Get ready to use cramp-ons and ice tools as you take on this challenge with professionally trained and certified as climbing instructors. All experience levels welcome, no experience required.

Outdoor Connections provides the trip leaders, instruction, transportation, meals/snacks, permits, trip route/plan, and equipment needed. Our programs are for varied experience and skill levels unless explicitly stated. Most of all we want folks to come together to have a great time exploring our amazing outdoor areas while meeting others! Trip leaders will reach out to participants in advance to share what to pack, how to prepare, and more details about the trip schedule.

Open to the public! People who are not UWL students and who do not already have a Rec Sports account must click the "Sign Up" button on our registration portal.
