Many Voices, One Community

A UWL and La Crosse Children's Museum Collaboration

Many Voices, One Community" Kit: Promoting Belonging and Unity for Kids!

The "Many Voices, One Community" kit is an exciting initiative designed to engage children in the values of unity, pride, and inclusivity. Created through a collaboration between UWL OMSS, CTJ, the Pride Center, and the La Crosse Children's Museum, this kit offers our youth a reminder that we all belong here in La Crosse.

What's inside the kit?

  • Read-Aloud Videos: Dive into stories that explore themes of belonging and community. These videos are easily accessible through QR codes.
  • Book Recommendations: A curated list of books along with information on how to get a library card.
  • Craft Project: A fun and creative project, with a tutorial video available via QR code to guide the way.
  • Button of Unity: A special button featuring icons or phrases that represent unity, pride, belonging, and love.
  • Sticker/Pen: Show your support with a sticker or pen from OMSS and/or CTJ.

This kit is a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn about inclusivity while having fun! Visit the La Crosse Children's Museum in March to pick up your kit (while supplies last).

Can’t make it to the museum but interested in the read-aloud videos? Just reach out and we're happy to share the link.

Let’s come together and celebrate the power of many voices in one community!
