Higher Education at the Crossroads

Holding Firm in Our Commitments

Drs. Marco Torrez-Miranda (Madison College), Lauren "Lo" Moser Klink (University of Wisconsin-Madison), and Laura Wilmarth Tyna (Lewis College) will briefly present on their scholarship on the experiences of campus DEI leaders, high school student access to financial aid information, and anti-racism efforts among community engagement practitioners. Because there are more trends in higher education than can be captured in these brief presentations, we'll follow the scholarship session with a community conversation about the trends and challenges facing higher education and student affairs practitioners today. We'll draw from the scholarship and our community dialogue to share ideas for continuing our commitments to equity and justice in these times.

Bring your scholarship, your experiences, and your ideas! In addition, bring a friend! This session is free and open to interested higher ed and student affairs practitioners and scholars. In particular, we welcome SAA students, alums, and those curious about our educational programs.
