UWL gives

UWL partners with Great Rivers United Way to support programs and stock pantry shelves

How do you start your day? Do you worry about transportation to get where you need to go? Have you ever stressed about who is going to care for your children while you’re at work? Did you sleep well last night because you have safe and stable housing?

We all live different lives and face various barriers throughout the day. Donations to Great Rivers United Way (GRUW) help local people access resources to better their lives, no matter their background or challenges.

From December 1-12, UWL is hosting an employee workplace campaign to benefit the GRUW grants program, as well as a food drive for the GRUW and Rotary Lights annual non-perishable food collection, which helps benefit UWL’s Food Pantry.

Watch for information on Campus Connection or via email on how you can make a payroll deduction that benefits GRUW. Food donations can be dropped off at the Information Desk in the Student Union beginning December 1.

Learn more about how your donation impacts community members at: www.gruw.org/adayinthelife.
