Apply to Present at a 2026/27 CATL Event

CATL offers a wide range of programming for instructors throughout the year, and we know that some of the best ideas come from our colleagues across campus. We invite instructors to propose presentations, workshops, working sessions, reviews, and other collaborative learning opportunities for our 2026/2027 academic year CATL events. On the application you will be asked to share the session topic (title/description) and desired format, as well as identify a potential CATL staff member to partner with throughout the session design and delivery. You will also be asked to select the 2026/27 CATL Event that you believe best aligns with your session, as well as provide rationale for presenting at that event. Each event has a deadline to apply to provide ample time to prepare and promote. 

  • Fall Mini-Conference - Thursday, October 8 from 2:15-5:30pm and Friday, October 9, 2026 from 7:45am-3:45pm -- variety of topics and session types throughout the day on Friday (application deadline September 8, 2026)
  • Assessment Commons - Wednesday, January 20, 2027 -- topics focused around aspects of assessment with varying session formats (application deadline November 3, 2026)
  • Spring Mini-Conference - Thursday, February 25 from 2:15-5:30pm and Friday, February 26, 2026 from 7:45am-3:45pm -- variety of topics and session types throughout the day on Friday (application deadline December 1, 2026)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit - Wednesday, May 19, 2027 -- topics focused around aspects of AI with varying session formats (application deadline February 2, 2027)
