A Volunteer Bluffland Excursion

Volunteers will be assisting in the removal of invasive buckthorn plants from the bluffland landscape. Gloves and necessary supplies will be provided on site. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes  and long pants as they will likely be working on uneven terrain and in long prairie grasses. Volunteers should also plan to bring a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.

Transportation: Will be provided to and from the site location but if you'd prefer to drive yourself or others feel free. An email will be sent out the week of asking who will be driving themselves and who would like a ride (if driving separate, please still meet at location listed below prior to leaving!).

When: Sunday, October 25th. We will hold two volunteer shifts, one from 9:00am-12:00pm and another from 12:00pm-3:00pm. Volunteers are able to sign up for just one shift or both if so inclined.
